Library of Birmingham – Unique Venues Birmingham
Known as one of the largest public libraries in Europe, the Library of Birmingham is part of Unique Venues Birmingham and is one of the most visited attractions outside of London. In 2015 it received over 2 million visitors! Today it provides the ultimate showcase for Birmingham’s world-class collection of archives, photography and rare books.
Adding style to a whole range of events, this venue can host up to 800 delegates and offers great versatility for a meeting, conference or exhibition. Popular events which have taken place here include weddings, Christmas celebrations and dining experiences. WiFi, AV equipment and parking is all available.
This library venue is ideal for people who dream of a more theatrical wedding too! It offers a dynamic environment for guests and there’s lots of interesting space for hosting a reception, ceremony and party. The events team are on-hand to assist in making the most of the complimentary services on offer. They will ensure the day runs smoothly from start to finish!
The Elvethem
Just 15 minutes from the M3 and M4, The Elvetham is a beautiful 19th Century mansion set in Hampshire. The Library Function Room is the largest of its private function rooms. It offers a beautiful setting for corporate events. This room welcomes delegates with natural daylight, an ornate stone fireplace and gorgeous original bookcases.
The Elvetham has 16 flexible meeting and training rooms. All delegate packages include AV equipment. The 35 acres of manicured gardens create the ultimate backdrop for break-out space and team-building events too.
A fork, finger or bowl buffet between events is available for delegates. Or alternatively, fine dining is a great choice for special occasions. In the summer, a BBQ can be arranged!
Milton Hill
Surrounded by 20 acres of tranquil parkland, Milton Hill offers a charming Georgian backdrop. Located just 13 miles from beautiful Oxford, event organisers can choose from 21 high-tech rooms. The latest AV equipment and free WiFi are available.
The Library creates a charming space for up to 30 delegates in theatre-style, 16 u-shape, 18 horseshoe and 16 boardroom. The bookcases add a unique and special touch to the room. The Beech Nut, Wistend and The Ivy are other excellent spaces available. The Conference Cafe is a handy break-out space during a day of meetings and conferences.
The Garden Restaurant offers a great dining experience for delegates. It’s perfect for a special occasion serving freshly produced dishes. The Manor Bar is an alternative and more laid-back option, and somewhere delegates can unwind and relax!
Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club
Fragrant walled gardens await at the stately Jacobean-style country house of Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club. Plus, enjoy views of the 18 hole golf course. In addition to The Library, there are 17 event rooms that can host up to 196 delegates. An LCD projector, flip chart and pens are included in all delegate packages.
