Convenient for The City and Canary Wharf, CEME Conference Centre is the only hire venue in Essex or East London to have achieved the Gold Standard accreditation awarded by the Meetings Industry Association. The venue is also known as a ‘World Host’ because of the exceptional customer service the team provides.

There are a variety of conference and meeting rooms suitable for one-to-one meetings or larger scale product launches and events. The CEME Conference Centre has the rooms to host many functions.

The perfect presentation space is in The Pod Theatre. This auditorium accommodates up to 120 delegates and has outstanding acoustics, tiered seating and calming decor all add to the ambience of the theatre.

The Pod Circulation Area is a large and spacious centrepiece surrounded by glass and steal. It’s perfect for break-out space and exhibitions and The Pod Deck, a first floor mezzanine area, is suitable for networking.

For high profile meetings, the Executive Boardroom seats up to 12 delegates. The latest technology is available, including plasma screens and free WiFi plus delegates can enjoy CEME water, pads, pens and mints included in the delegate packages.The Executive Boardroom is ideal for senior management presentations and professional development sessions.

Located in the centre of the CEME Conference Centre is The Orb, a ‘street’ meeting place overlooking the lakeside decking area. Offering the latest technology and an abundance of natural daylight, it’s a great area for meetings, one-to-one catch ups and interviews.

Product Launches

The award-winning CEME events team are on-hand to ensure a product launch has the ultimate wow-factor, from start to finish.  The on-site technicians ensure AV requirements are met.

The POD Theatre is ideal for this type of event with an inbuilt projection system and integral sound and lighting system which can all be operated with a mobile control panel. Vehicle access is available along with lots of space to showcase the products being launched.

Corporate Team-Building

With summer on its way, team-building is always a popular way to get the delegates to inspire, motivate and strengthen bonds. CEME Conference Centre work alongside three companies to deliver an incredible experience for delegates. All packages include morning conference facilities and full refreshments, orange juice and biscuits, hot bowl food for lunch and bespoke event space to suit your group size and the chosen team-building activity.

Often used for business award ceremonies and prize giving events, the Circulation Area and Pod Theatre create an excellent arena for awarding delegates.

Food and refreshments are a focal point of any awards evenings and the CEME Conference Centre has an in-house catering team offering something to suit all. Dishes such as Wild Mushroom and Truffle Soup, Roasted Sea Bass on a bed of Wild Fennel and Sticky Toffee Pudding with Caramelised Bananas provide a mouth-wateringly good dining experience.

If you’re on the search for a unique dining experience or an excuse for delegates to make their way to the dance floor there’s plenty of space to suit up to 300 guests. Spoilt with a choice of dining options for the occasion, organisers can choose from British cuisine, Asian and African-Caribbean menus. A full range of wine and beverages are available and CEME Conference Centre can host champagne and prosecco receptions.

Easily adaptable, there are a number of spaces perfect for hosting a wedding day and the centre has stunning lakeside gardens for photographs.

The Circulation Area in the main venue seats up to 300 guests or 600 standing. Rooms are available for more intimate receptions rooms welcoming 30 guests.

Evening receptions are just as easy to plan with this venue’s flexibility and open spaces for dining and dancing. The landscaped gardens, decking area and lakeside lawn is perfect for those all important wedding photos capturing the wedding party’s special memories. This is perfect space for a summertime reception too.

Party at The Pod with winter wonderland themed celebration packages include a sparkling wine reception, three course traditional Christmas dinner, a cash bar, snow machine and a DJ, light and dancing show until 1 am.
