Hunton Park goes green
Firstly, for event organisers who need to arrange 24-hour stays for their delegates, Hunton Park offers 62 comfortable en-suite guest rooms. These have recently received a lighter and brighter makeover and now meet the Mercure brand standards.
And secondly, Hunton Park has teamed up with Planet 21; an organisation with a mission to go green! The Hunton Park team are encouraging guests to do their bit for the planet too and reuse guest room towels. In addition to this, delegates and guests are encouraged to use less water and energy too. As a result of any savings, Planet 21 will be able to plant one tree every minute; this is a great way to help towards their mission.
Brand new event spaces at Hunton Park
The hotel has excellent facilities and boasts a restaurant, bar, indoor swimming pool and even an 18-hole pitch and putt course. Also, a delightful croquet lawn that is situated in the hotel’s grounds can be used to introduce a spot of competition into a corporate day!
Inside, the brand new Hazelwood Suite has built-in projection, natural daylight and direct access to the venue’s grounds. This is a stunning space that has been purpose-built for a range of events and welcomes up to 200 delegates. And if you are organising outside team-building events or catering, the direct access to the garden brings an added touch of exclusivity to events.
The Garden Marquee
The grand Garden Marquee is a new addition to the event space here at Hunton Park too. It accommodates 500 guests for a seated banquet and up to 700 guests theatre style. Delegates arrive into the marquee via a spacious entrance hall that boasts a unique curved structure; one of only five of its kind in Europe. Elegant pleated ivory lining on the walls set a beautiful backdrop to the Garden Marquee. Furthermore, it benefits from a suspended hardwood floor that is ideal for dinner dances in addition to presentations and conferences. The ivory LED star cloth ceiling canopy and 14 twinkling chandeliers create the ultimate wow factor atmosphere too.
