We’ve received some exciting news from our Findmeaconference partner Crowne Plaza London – The City who have unveiled their new look City Lounge following a £800,000 refurbishment.
Located in the heart of London’s business district, Crowne Plaza London – The City has created a space of artsy sophistication in its move away from the former traditional hotel lounge style.
Paul Watson, general manager, told us more:

The focal point of the new design is an illuminated bar contrasted with grey wool banquettes and burnt orange leather chairs. High back sofa pods provide privacy for meetings or a quite escape in the open plan lounge which now has an increased capacity of 62 covers.
In line with the refurbishment, the menu has had a makeover too; delegates attending breakfast meetings can enjoy salt-beef hash served on toasted sourdough bread with poached eggs and the day dining menu features seafood options such as sustainable cod cooked in a Goan coconut sauce or Scalloway salmon from the Shetland Isles.
Crowne Plaza believes that when you eat well, you work well, so the food is freshly prepared and nutritionally balanced to feed the mind as well as the body.

Two award-winning restaurants offer guests fantastic variety with the Chinese Cricket Club serving southern and eastern Chinese cuisine while Diciannove Italian Restaurant serves freshly made pasta and fine wines.

Event organisers have up to three rooms and three suites to host events. The largest function suite welcomes up to 200 delegates. The hotel has a dedicated business centre and work stations and a Crowne Plaza Meetings Director will look after specific requirements. As you would expect with a London hotel offering meeting and conference space, the AV and presentation facilities are superb.
