Independent and full of flavour is how we describe The House of Daniel Thwaites; the collection of pubs, inns and award-winning hotels from the family brewery which began over 200 years ago.
Many people will be familiar with the name of Thwaites from the collection of pubs and the brewery. In recent years, the company have been busy behind the scenes developing a portfolio of high quality hotels with conference facilities and spas. Quality, innovation, craftsmanship and warm hospitality were at the core of the business six generations ago and today, they remain an important focus in bringing all the elements together.
The House of Daniel Thwaites
Rick Bailey, Chief Executive of The House of Daniel Thwaites explains more:
“The House of Daniel Thwaites is not another dull collection, it’s not even a brand – it’s a mindset, created through the eyes of the people working in our kitchens, bars, spas and housekeeping of our properties. It’s what differentiates us and putting it all together under The House of Daniel Thwaites is the clearest way for us to help our customers understand us.
“It stands for quality, rich experiences and feeling comfortable and at home wherever you find us.”
The company enlisted the help of its staff in developing The House of Daniel Thwaites. Hundreds of team members were involved in the new proposition and bringing it to life.
Rick Bailey:
“We’re all really excited about it – an organisation powered by our people, with ownership of their own properties, delivering superb hospitality in outstanding properties in great locations.”
Each property in the collection has a unique story, individual character and a superb guest experience. Our team at Findmeaconference are sharing six of their favourite hotels from the collection below.
The Aztec Hotel & Spa, Bristol
This venue has a combination of 20 meeting rooms, suites and syndicate rooms with a maximum capacity of 200 delegates. The Aztec Hotel and Spa was one of the first hotels in the UK to offer delegates attending meetings and conferences the use of free WiFi. The hotel is now taking this service to a new level of satisfaction by offering superfast, 100MB/100MB broadband. This makes it the first UK hotel to offer a self-service speedy option for conference delegates and hotel guests.
The Aztec Hotel and Spa is offering a fantastic two hour team-building option. This can be added onto the end of a meeting or event. You can get full details from the Findmeaconference team on 01775 843411. There’s a great range of activities available through the hotel’s partners MoJo Active.
