One of our conferencing reservations specialists, Sam, recently had the opportunity to visit Bank House Hotel on a familiarisation trip. This gave Sam the opportunity to experience first-hand what makes this venue such a popular choice.
First Impressions
Upon Arrival, Sam was surprised by how large the venue was. The property is spacious yet welcoming, and set the tone for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
A Suite Stay
Bank House Hotel generously hosted Sam in the Mint Suite, which definitely impressed. The suite opened into its own lounge area. Then led through to a large bedroom and bathroom, which featured double sinks!
Delicious Dining
As a self-confessed foodie, the highlight of Sam’s trip was the dining experience. She enjoyed a delicious braised beef with mash, goat’s cheese and red wine jus, followed by what some would argue is the king of desserts, a creamy panna cotta, topped with an espresso mouse and chocolate bark.
Meeting the Team
Our team are firm believers that a venue is made by the team who run it. So it was fantastic to spend time with the team at Bank House, particularly Roz and Adam, who were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable.
Bank House is already a favourite with some of our clients. They regularly book this venue and consistently enjoy their visits. It was also lovely to hear how much the hotel team appreciates working with our clients, a reflection of the positive relationships built between venue staff and guests.
Events & Meeting Facilities
During the visit, we were given a tour of the venue’s meeting and event spaces. The hotel offers a range of well-equipped meeting rooms, as well as a stunning standalone hall used for larger events and celebrations.
Final Thoughts
Described in three words as quaint, comfortable and enjoyable. Bank House Hotel delivers a fantastic combination of warm hospitality, excellent food and versatile event spaces.
It’s a venue we would absolutely recommend. It’s one we look forward to booking for many more of our clients in the future.
